#1 I need help! Valve clearance, carb , idle speed.
Hello to all! I have got as a fours bike a Daelim 125 VT, made in 00 y. Sure, Suzuki is better, but for a nowice (for my wife) it is a good mashine. Anyway, it has 16000 km and i should to adjust the valve clearance. Does anyone know that? I can't find a manual for the bike, but my colleague has found a manual for a DAELIM ROADWIN VJ125. I will try to download.
Might anyone has a link for a manual??
Sorry, i don't know Deutsch Sprache, just a little bit English. Hope any one can read and understand what i want.
Next. The bike hasnt an air filter, it has a zeroflow filter, i think it isnt good. Also bike cant takes an idle speed. Sometimes it sneezes to the carb and etc. So, i have two tasks
1. find what it the valve clearance
2. where (how) to adjust the idle speed.
Thank you.

Hi Suzukistorm,
Welcome on this helpful Site.
First of your questions has already been answered, the valve clearance.
Idle speed can be adjusted on the right side of the carburator, the small screw behind the simicircular black plasic part that is connected to the throttle cable. But perhaps it is also helpful to correct the mixture.
You can download a German handbook on this site, it can help as it includes pictures that can support you even without any knowledge of the German language ( but of course it would help to understand German).
Hope these words can support you to get the engine running smoothly.
Can you explain what a zeroflow filter is?
If you need further support, please let me know and I'm sure with the support of the other members we will find solutions.

Hello to all and thanks for the answers. I just back to the country, was in Egypt :)
1. The valve clearance as i understood is the same for IN and EX valves, right? Usually EX valves have larger clearance than the IN, so i will be waiting for an exactly answer.
2. to Muhrepenn the zero flow filter is not a stock filter, form my point of view the zero-flow it is not filter, because it hasn't any elements for filtering dirty air, just has a steel grid.
the zero-flow filter use when u want to up a power of engine, but u should change a jets into the carb and change an exhaust pipe. In my case the zero-flow filter stays on the carb, and the stock air filter is missed. I don't know who and why but its a fact. Therefore, the idle speed is not correct it jumps all time up and down and the engine stops. It seems like a dirty idle jet, but i have cleared twice the carb.
Hope thees trouble will resolve after adjusting the valve clearance, but not a fact. i'll write what i got. Thanks.
